So yeah, everytime i try an throw it in reverse it feels like it's not in all the way. Like it's not in gear. One of my friends told me to put it in second first, then go to reverse so it doesn't mess up the syncros or anything. I tried that and it still doesn't feel right. Maybe 1 out of 5 times i try and go in reverse the gear feels like it's still out a bit. And i have to slam it in occasionally. So can anyone help me out, that'd be awesome

Normal. Reverse is a non-synchronized, straight cut dog gear that engages between the input and output shaft. As long as you hear that nice solid CLACK when you go into reverse, it's in. It also helps if you let the car roll a little when you go to engage reverse, as it'll line the teeth up for you so you don't have to fight it.
