it connects to the clutch master cylinder. it is attached to the tranny front and center of the car right above the cross member (where you would jack up the front of the car). it's a roundish protrusion from the tranny with a hardline going into it. it's got some accordian rubbery stuff on it too.
haha i just know this b/c i had to bleed my clutch today...
when you push the clutch pedal pressure is built up in the master cylinder and fluid is displaced. that fluid in turn goes to the slave cylinder. when the slave cylinder is displaced the clutch moves.

slave cylinder is the techie term for it. the official term for a slave cylinder is clutch release cylinder. search for that and products will come up for sure.
