I have a trans with a bad 2nd gear synchro. I have read posts saying the second gear is not servicable. I find that hard to believe considering there is more than one part required to make this non servicable part. The rebuild kit is 100.00 more with synchro's. has anyone torn this trans apart and rebuilt there own.

I have rebuilt the T350 several times. What you have read is a FACT - the output shaft is not serviceable. It does not come apart. You cannot remove the output pinion to even begin disassemling the 1-2 synchro. If you have a 1st or 2nd gear synchro issue just buy a junkyard trans, because you fubar'd the one you have.
The input shaft (3rd, 4th, 5th) is fine. keep it for spare parts, or send it to me.
