its not for my car mind you. my friend has a 95 rs and i dunno what the hell happened but he has a hole the size of a grapefruit in his tranny housing. the car is in pretty crappy condition but he wants to know about how much a tranny + install will run him cuz if its too much he is just gonna part it out. throw out some numbers for me. TIA!

Last trans i bought was $300. Install was free, because i did it myself just like he should.

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.
If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good. If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast. If you want it good and fast, it's not going to be cheap.

I think someone said a rebuilt NV-T350 from Forward Motion Inc. was about $500. As for installation, I dunno what a shop would charge, but when I get my car ready I'm gonna be doing the engine and tranny install (maybe with the help of some people in my area, that's still a ways off though).
