I know in like October of 95 they started putting in modular flywheels, I have a tranny out of a 1997 Talon Esi and want to put it in my early 95 Eclipse. Since the tranny doesnt have a flywheel or clutch on it, will i have to worry about a non -> modular conversion?

Amazing. I answered this exact topic on DSMTalk.
Like i stated there, they went to modular clutches on the 2GNT sometime pre-august 94. My dec. 94 car has a modular clutch. Unless you know for a fact your car has a non-modular setup, i wouldn't worry about it. Anyway, converting from non-modular to modular is the easy way - just buy a modular clutch, flexplate, and 4 flexplate bolts.
