My car is out of commission till about mon or tuesday. I was on my way home from work yesterday, went to shift in 2nd, and it just rev'd and didnt go into gear. So I shift to 3rd, and try 4th. Same thing. My shifter is all weird too. It goes back farther than normal. Humm...... So I come to a stop, put it in first, didnt even have to push the clutch in to go to 2nd. I didnt have to do it for 2,4,or R. So I get home, take out the battery, and theres my problem. The little clip the holds the shift cable to the bracket isnt there. I call every store and junkyard around here and the only place I can get it from is satan. Go figure. I was gonna go to the track that day too. So now Im waiting on them to get me my part... This sux. I prob could drive it, but I dont want to risk breaking the cable. Which would be more downtime and more money I dont have. heh.
