#1307, "STICKY SHIFT/ hard shift....any ideas?"

The center cable coming direct from the stick broke on my 5spd, so i replaced both shift cables with a newer set from a junkyard car.

The difference at first was AMAZING!!! i mean I went from super hard shifts to shifts so easy I was using my pinkie to shift with the new cables.

3 days later my shifting went back to stiff again, have any of you had this kind of problem? if you have any ideas on the issue please post. I would love to have easy shifting all the time.

get back to me.
