stage doesnt matter is what boost level your runnin

you can run 10lbs no problem, so stage 2 no problem.
just watch your launches to protect the diff.

But in our cars trannies were designed to protect the engine, the tranny is designed to bust before the engine does to protect the more expensive engine, but there are lots runnin stage 2 no problem

>so a stage 3 or 4 is out of the question then

no stage 3 or 4 is just fine, but if you start doing hard launches,etc.. you might start to break shit, axels,etc..
stage 3 is just basically stage 2 with internals, and a little more fuel wise,

I just wouldnt be doing hard launches at 15lbs of boost

Some cars might break at 2lbs of boost some never even at 20lbs of boost.

If you stay with 10-15lbs of boost you should be fine as long as your not doing necksnapping launches, example dont sit at a stopsign and build up 10lbs of boost and just take off. either the diff pin will decide it no longer likes to be in your tranny or your axels might snap (tranny will probably bust first but its def possible to break axels too.

If you want to be safe I would just have a tranny shop weld your diff pin (or get the mopar diff pin brackets), that would keep you pretty safe for a while

The A604 can be used with any stage turbo system. Our version has been tested at 390+ horsepower. In my opinion, we really need to fix a few minor issues before putting a lot of power through it. Upgrade the solenoids, valve body, cooler, and differential for safe measure.

Problems related to the axels and clutches and whatnot are a problem with any high HP setup. At Stage 5 , you'll want a built tranny anyways because you'll break a lot of different stock parts. So my answer to this question is that the ATX can take whatever stage you got!
