#4206, "420a "reverse pressure switch" problems???"

Hi, I am new to the board. Just thought I would ask if anyone knows where this "reverse pressure switch" is located? My service engine soon light came on and I pulled the code with an obd2 scanner. I gave that code # to Mit dealer and they told me that this swich is going out. They also said that when it does I will loose all forward gears. Has anyone had this problem? I have noticed that some times it takes a few sec to go into drive and a couple of times while driving down the road it seems to loose drive for a sec. Kind of like putting it in neutral and back to drive. Thanks for the boards, keep up the good work!

Shawn

"reverse pressure switch" , I havent heard this term b4 . I think they are referring to either the brake switch to solenoid pack... bth are cheep and ez to fix yourself.Only reason I say solenoid pack is because that IS what controls your tranny fluid pressure when changing gears and since they mentioned the forward gears going out as well this would make sense. I would swap out solenoid packs and see what happends. What yr is your car? You may want to pick one up for a caravan. This is considered an upgrade and will get rid of that nasty buzz noise when u put it into reverse.
