would u guys be interested in a piggy back tcu chip? Ive been working on one for the last 5 onths and have finally finished the unit/harness. I tested it on a 98 bone stock atx neon this past weekend and here are the results...(ill post dyno charts later) 60% increase in tourqe (between shifts), 7% increase in HP (@ 4430rpms)... all this on a 6wire, quick disconnect harness...all in a box about the size of a radar detector (im workin on making it smaller) let me know if these are worth building for ya'll....If i get enouph responses ill make em... and wont screw u guys... units will run approx. 150$..... (250 on ebay lol)

Just kidding about payments, when I get my car problems figured out and all squared away, then I'll be more than happy to spend $150 on this. I'd like to see actual drag strip results to see how much you pick up. If you can kill a verifiable tenth or more then it's worth $150 for sure. Is it tunable in anyway or is it a plug in shift improver type deal? Do you need guinea pigs right now to test it and make sure it works, or you know and just want to get them on the market? yes works better with shift kit

the chip modifies 3 things basically

1. fluid pressure for much much stronger grabs (shifts)
2. forces the ecu to dump more fuel into the cyl's
3. causes the TC to hold longer between shifts for maximum trq

*other mods included w/ chip*
- intergrated tq lock up switch
- integrated tq reduction switch

****also when using this chip it will not throw a TC lockup code when using the TC lockup swith*******

Assuming I have a good running transmission with;
TransGo Shift Kit, Stratus Final Gear set, Tranny cooler (duh), and the Torque Reduction mod
How much of a difference will this really create? Would I have to reconnect the orange/white wire for the Torque reduction mod? Where does it plug in, under the hood on the ECU, or in the passenger compartment on the TCU? Can you integrate some sweet blinky LED's so it make's my car even cooler (j/k)
I gotta flush and refill with ATF+4 and make sure the tranny is strong and then I may be hittin you up for one of these, how soon do you think you'll be ready to make these?

welp got my "PATANT RECIEVED" email confermation... so ill be ready to make em very very soon.
Now to answer your ques... the harness will have to go threw the firewall. All the connection (besides ground) are in the engine bay. your TQ reduction switch will be replaced by this unit so u can leave that wire cut. all connections except for the map sensor wires connect at the ecu for ease of install. Unit comes with all required connections (connectors) to do so and wire loom to make it look purdy

He will prolly show up from the dead now that we are talking crap again. Seems like thats what happend Feb '06 lol. I would like to see one but I really would assume they are junk until its proved efficient.
