Hello guys, im trying to find out what is going on with my tranny and what i will need to do. The tranny shifts ok until it is down shifting from 2nd to firsts. It will jurk into 1ss. If anyone has any ideas or anything PLEASE let me know thanks so much alicia

Solution: Don't do that.
Don't downshift into first with the car moving. They don't like that.

Mine does it. Even after a fluid/filter change. These transmissions are pieces of junk. It's on its way out. It did it when I got the car, and is still doing it. I've put another 12k miles on it like this though.
What I do is avoid giving it to much gas so it doesn't do 2nd->1st, and put it in neutral when I'm stopping so it doesn't downshift then. Actually, mine really jerks when it's stopping. The 2nd->1st downshift while driving is more of a slippage/catch/then go kind of a thing. And 1st->2nd upshift is also a slip thing if the rpms are to high.
I just try and deal with it. I'll replace the transmission when it finally dies.
