when in "park" after i have been driving it for a while, my temperature will spike, past the "normal" half-way between the "H" and the "C" to almost to the "H". But when i shift it into drive, it goes back down... It never did this before... Any ideas??? My only mods are a modified airbox, with a K&N filter, and an OBX axle-back exhaust... HELP...

make sure the radiator fan is kicking on.
will it go back down if you just put it into drive and sit there or do you have to drive around.
Im guessing your getting enough airflow when moving to cool the rad fluid down but it gets too hot when you stop.

Probably either the fans arent kicking on or the rad might be blocked by leaves or whatever.

that's what i thought, too... Both fans seem to spin, but i'll check for leaves... is there a relay for the fans? who knows, maybe this time next week, my eclipse will be running dual flex-a-lite fans, and a 160* thermostat emoji thanks man...
