Hey, My car is having some problems, the tranny jumps and has rough shifts. I was wonering if the tranny is going or if there is a way to fix it. The car is having the radiator replaced b/c it was cracked. I wonder if there is any way that if the tranny oil was running hot that that would cause it to shift roughly? I just need to find out why it is jumping into gear. It seems that the lower the RPM's at the shift point the more it jumps.

make sure that you check it while the car is running, and in neutral with the parking brake on.
