#2327, "update...still limp after sensors replaced"
alright....i just spent 100 in speed sensors for the input and output, and i'm still in limp mode. i replaced the sensors, and it seemed to go into limp mode quicker after a restart. got half mile down the road, shifted into 3rd just fine, then it just went out of gear. i restarted the car and it was in limp mode again. now, if my speedo works wouold it be the TPS? sorry to bring it up again...just tryin to get it back on the road. thanks alot i appreciate all the herlp you've already provided.

get the codes pulled, and I know your a 95 , you can still get the tranny codes pulled. its the only way, like I said in your other post you can change all the sensors you want but you need to find out which one is causing the limp mode.
take it to a tranny place and have the codes pulled
it could be a wiring/harness problem with the sensors too.

If the trans is slipping out of gear, sounds like the trans is on it's way out.
Get the TCU codes pulled and check for and CEL codes. See what you get. But tha's a lot of miles on a trans.

if you havent tried it already, get ur tranny flushed & new filter. when mine was goin nuts one of the dealers told me there is a screen in our trans that gets clogged sometimes. The bad news is this will cost around $100 and may not fix it. but it COULD save you a bunch

It could also cause you to get a new trans...
Figure out when the last time you did a fluid flush/filter change.
If you havn't done it in a while you could be spelling your your transmissions disaster by flushing it out. You can dislodge particles that are actually acting for good which will screw up the trans.
At this point id take it somewhere who can do a clutch volume index and see how much you got. If it's extremely low and our of spec get it rebuilt or swap a 5sp in there.

is there anyhting you can bump loose to make it go into limp mode? cuz the last time i was in the dealer it happened and they told me something got bumped and that was all.

check/replace the eatx relay its on the firewall near the ASD/fuel pump relay YOu should have 3 in that area, the EATX is the closest to the drivers mirror I thought
