#2164, "Lowerd w/ ATX"

Anyone here lowered with ATXs ever worry about their pans scraping or anything like that?

Im lowering the car in a coupla days and that's my only concern. Id hate to scrape and hit that and puncture a hole in it.

I could probably make a cover but id rather not, will I be ok lowering it?

Joe

I've had mine lowered for three plus years now with a 2" drop, more like 2.5-3" in the front now and never had a problem damaging anything minus the front bumper.

yea, pretty much front bumper. i wouldnt worry about puncturing a hole in your a/t pan.

i did however jack up a b&m drain plug on a little speed bump. it leaked ever since. ended up buying a new one.

Shit, I got the RRE front brace and that fucker is like 1" off the ground. I'm gonna have to get a new one cause I beat the piss out of it. My pan is fine though.

Hey Joe- how low are you going? Middle-TN is a bad place in general for lowered cars. Be very very careful.

The front of my car is about 1.5" off the ground. I have no problem with the ATX pan.

Im getting Eibach Sportlines on AGX adjustables. They're Dave's up in Gallatin and his car doesnt seem all that low. And yea most of Middle TN sucks for my stock right height.

I had sportlines for about 3 years...you have no worries about your pan.

The under part of the front bumper is all f@cked up and sometimes i clip the the under part of my sideskirts too. You'll learn to take speed bumps, driveways and just about everything else at angles.

Sure... Michael's car (xEclipseRaceRx) should be done soon. We're rebuilding his engine and it should be finished this week. After that, come over on a Sunday when I'm in the garage and I'll be more than happy to help you with whatever you're doing. emoji

Mines dropped on Eibach pro-kits and I never had any scraping problems with the pan. My front bumper on the otherhand...
