My car jerks sometimes when I put it in drive, and has been since I bought it, (2 years ago and usually it drives good) well the other night it jerked but then felt weird when trying to go, so I had to drive in low gear (the lowest) and now I cannot find the dipstick to check the fluid, I was told so many places it should be, even told that mitsubitshi did not have one,oh well I don,t get it, anyone know? please hurry!!!!

I found it, and allso had it checked to see if it was low or smelled burnt, which it was not, I went to a gas station (had to drive in low gear because now when it jerk or jump it doesn,t want to go in regular drive or drive two) I asked the guy if they could scan the trans with the computer for a code and he stated "this year is like the older models and could not be scanned, so I asked how long can I drive in low gear untill I can get it fixed because I have a little running I need to do, well anyway I want to know if it sound like i have a major problem, like if there is such a thing as getting an adjustment that would be less expensive what should I do! Because I beleive some mechanics will automaicatly say "you need a new or rebuild the trans" Please help!!!
