ok today i installed the remote filter and temp gauge so i could get a base temp to see how much the cooler actually will cool the fluid. so i put it in now when i got to check the fluid level witht eh car running it shows nothing!!! but when i check it witht eh car off it shows its full so what do i believe here and what would u do. i did spill some when i went to see which line is in and which is out. and btw i found that on my car which i would think is the same for all that the line more on the drivers side is out and passenger is in.but anyway what should i do about the fluid and if i need some how much would u put in and do i just fill in through the dipstick tube or where. and also last question with the stock cooler what should my fluid run at temp wise, and where is teh danger zone.????? thanks and sorry its so long just got a lot of questions.

need to fill that tranny up immediately. If youre unsure on how much to add, add a half quart to a quart of ATF at a time. I hope you arnt driving with that little of fluid in your car, tranny will slip and over heat like a whore bitch.

yup, at the dipstick with a funnel. be sure though, after pouring atleast a quart in, you run your car through each gear for about 5 seconds, and leave the car in N while checking the level

yea i read the online manual for the trans and it says normal operating temp is between 150 to 193 and i have been driving it hard now that my fluid is good just to see what i get up to so far i only hit not even 190 then i drive at a constant speed and it goes back to like 160 or so. this is just with a stock cooler so ill post results once i get my aftermarket cooler in Mods: CAI, OBX exhaust, Grillcraft grills, altezzas, ard ryver g6 17's wrapped w/ falken's, VIS racing c.f hood, 2 12" kicker comp's w/pioneer h.u, streetglow blue undercars, red dash kit, indiglo guages, n other shit
