what mph does your power start to fall?

dont really know I was at 105 yesterday with no problems with power loss at all

shorter top end thats all .... your gears are now shorter ..so this means u will accelerate much more quickly ... but you will top out at 110-115 im guessing

What it will do is shorten the gears but what you have to understand is that the tranny is set to handle speeds of like 155 to 160. So when we shorten them it takes away from the max speed. I have most of the tranny mods and I can hit 135mph. Your just taking away from your maximum speed. I actually felt more power when I was on the interstate.

you probably cannot hit 135 in your auto with the final mod, your basically gear limited and drag limited around that area, unless you turbo and have the HP to get it movin

Well I have hit 135mph before in the car now whether or not the car was acutally going that fast is another question. Dirty I believe has hit 140mph with the same mods on the tranny that I have.

The speeds that the final drive gears will have an effect on, you will never see anyway, so there is no need to be concerned about that. This topic goes way back and the fact still remains.

larger tires affect the speedo ..... like me i came with 14" and now am running 17" which i think does throw things off especially at high end ...

if you got the write series tires, you would off by .3%. if you got the wrong series, you'll be off like 5%.
