I have a 97 Gs and ever since I got the car the O/D light on the dash has never worked and I really dont notice any difference when the button is in or out. When I asked satan about this they said that it was just the dash light and not to worry. But my car seems to always shift into 4th at like 80 and thats what pisses me off because it seems like that would affect my 1/4 mile time. Is there any way I could test/fix this myself?

Be careful. Would hate for you to come back and say "When I pushed hte button it downshifted and I lost control and ran off the road."

If you're going 80-90. You'are at about 3-3500rpms. Hit that button (assuming it works) you'll jump to atleast 4-5rpms. only 1500 from redline. Its fun to do, if you go it under control and know your tranny wont blow up on ya:)
