Well i've seen some guys on here inquiring about this. We can all get one going if you like. Soulcontroller and I will be heading from Grand Rapids, to Lansing, getting together with Matt_95tgs, and his bro, then from there, prob over to 23 South, heading through Ann Arbor, then to Toledo, OH. From there, straight out to the shoot out! If anyone is in this path, or wants to join in, just let me(us) know.

yeah that sucks. whats even worse is my eclipse is now a 3 cyl, heh. I am getting a 350z soon so if i dont get the eclipse going ill be there in the Z. I'm hoping to get the Z and drive it to work so i can work on the eclipse all week after work. But i still havent got the block from vt. So even if i get it in and get the dsm to norwalk I cant race, my motor / valvetrain will still be breaking in. Whatever, regardless im going to be there!! I just hope i can add another turbo 420a to the crowd!

If VT machined your motor, it will be broken in within 100 miles. They use a new diamond hone for the cylinder finish, and it makes for almost right away ring break in. The drive to the SO should break in the cams and whatnot.. After 100 miles on my motor, i had a dead solid 185 psi on all cylinders...VT rocks

VT Does rock, but they are not going to have my motor done in time.
Its been there for a month now... I will probably be at the shootout in the Z or we might all pile in my friends xterra. Either way, no racing for me. It will still be a fun weekend i guess.

update! they said I should be able to pick the motor up today. I just need axel diff seals and a water pump from a local parts store. I have everything else. So I'm gonna bust my ass to get this motor in within the next 2 days. I hope i can get it done! I have the lift on the old motor. I can't get the bolt out of the rear motor mount, the rest of the mounts are off. I'm going to send my friend up to lansing to get the motor while I am at work. And I am getting the Z today, but no time to drive around in the Z, i gotta get the eclipse runnin again!!
