Take Interstate 605 south to Interstate 91 East, exit the 91 at Bloomfield/Artesia, then take Bloomfield south to 195th Street, turn left, and the park is on the right.

Or take 605 and exit at Del Amo and head east. Then make a left on bloomfield and then a right onto 195th. Parking will be all along the right side.

I am planning on getting a picnic area facing or near to 195th. There is alot of parking so just look for alot of 2gnt's. I'll park my car facing the street to help people locate us.

What: 2gnt meet and BBQ.
Bring some food or drink, whatever you want to BBQ and snacks
and crap.

Why: because its time for another one!

I can get what Dan suggested "Carne asada", which is flapmeat/skirt steak, but without the seasoning (they come as vaccum pack/cases). I was thinking somewhere along Ribeye/Newyork and such for those of you that are extremely hungry. What ya'll want? I need to get an idea of the amount of people that will show up, so I know how many pounds to bring.

I was on the 55 fwy yesturday and flagged down 2 hotties... I was on my bike, but had my 2gnt shirt on. The car wasn't stock! It was a 99 gs, and her EX boyfriend did the work for her, now she wants another boyfriend that will spend her money for her on her car! I told her that we were meeting up with at least a dozen 2gnt's and she should come... She sounded interested so I gave her my number and told her to call me next week so I can give her specifics.
I think she just thought I was trying to pick her up... But I told her just to come.

I will call to reserve tomorrow. There are 2 large picnic areas that require reservations, but there are many many more that are first come first serve. I will scout it out and get a space.

I am going to try to get a picnic area along 195th st. There is alot of parking along 195th so i think you will see our cars. Look for a white eclipse with a big HRC FMIC. I'll park facing the street. I'll probably be the first one there being that i will have the reservations if i get them.

I left for work this morning... I hoped on my bike, rolled out my driveway, and took a look at my filthy 2g. OMG but fuck me side ways if I didn't see fuggin' spider webs forming! Damn it. Looks like I will stop off at Auto Zone on the way home, buy some engine degreaser, and spend the next couple days after work getting that thing spiffy clean, for this weekend.

hey fellas... i dont think i would be a good candidate to bring the stuff for the bbq's... im leaving from vegas on sat night/sun morning and i dont know what time i will be arriving at the meet... so i dont want to hold up the grilling b/c you dont have charcoal...

Yeah, I forgot about my friend who's also on the board. Never posts on the announcement sections but he shows up during meets. So far, it looks good. Derek might bring his friend too with the 2G, we'll see. I'll prolly bring my gf too. Oh yeah, any word about the alcohol? (Ez, what if I bring met-OH instead? ) Should I bring all the bottles? I have 9 bottles of San Miguel Beer (imported from RP ), half bottle of bacardi, two unopened bottles of smirnoff, those flavored ones, orange and cherry. What do u guys think? Otherwise, I'll bring condiments, utensils, and what not. Or I might just pitch in the 5 bux or end up buying fried chicken from this place I know that has really good crispy chicken. Lemme know guys.

you won't get lost. From Brea all you have to do is this.
57 south, 91 West, exit bloomfield/artesia and make a left at the light, then at the first light(bloomfield) make a left(cerritos town center should be on the corner) keep going down and pass south street. Then make a left on 195th and the park is right there it is big you won't miss it. I went to the park last night and i am going to try to get a picnic area I saw. It will be on the right side, park in the second parking area along 195th. I think there are 3 seperate parking areas each with 2 entrances, so like turn into the 3rd entrance on the right. you should be able to see the picnic area from the street.
I'll be going early like at ~7 or 8 AM the spaces fill up quick so I'm gonna make a dash for it early.
