#8221, "So where are most of you SoCal 2GNTers located?"

We here in Phoenix have been toying with the idea of rolling out to SoCal to meet up with you guys. I want to know where would be the best place to get the most of you guys together in one place. I was thinking it would be cool if we had some event we could all check out like a HIN or something. Maybe hit a local track or just chill at the beach and get our drink on (assuming we can find 20+ parking spots near the beach emoji ). Does this sound like a good idea to any of you out there? If so, or you'd like to help me try to put this together, please reply or hit me up in the e-mail. Take it easy fellas. emoji

That would be cool. rumor flys around of a Aug 10th meet at Cerrito Regional PArk. Just a place to hang out and chill. Maybe even cruise down to the beach...who knows.

We are all around 45min- 1 hour away from one another (county to county of course)

Here's how many we are:

In Phoenix - me, run4cvr, Taloniized, Uberingram, Tsumujikaze, SirZyrion
In Tucson - cota472 and the famous Mrlocalpimp

I would like to think that at least half of us would make the drive. Aug 10 might be a little too close for us to set up time-wise. I still have about 4 weeks of break in to complete, and school just started up again last week, but I'll see what we can come up with. It would be pretty damn cool imo to get a really big group of 2GNTs together. I really just want to see if you guys would be interested in doing it sometime.

It seems like anytime there's a post with "socal" in it, the next day it has over 50 posts to it, so I figure there's a bunch of you guys over there. emoji We want to get AZ to be like that.

Hey, u guys should join us on the 17th (or was it the 10th?) . We need more people to show up. Yup, there's a lot of Cali people on this board, just that most are busy and have conflicting schedules. I think the most people that showed up for a meet was one of those speedzone meets where 20 ppl showed up. It was tight and all. emoji

he he Marcus, I threw my p/s belt, and 96rst who was right behind me on the track lost both his p/s belt AND the alternator belt a few seconds later. his p/s belt was nowhere to be found. could still be on the track emoji

I had to leave after my forth run, I didn't have a 14mm (or any tools for that matter) to mess with the tensioner. I wanted to fix that b4 my friends party that night. I met that guy who had the kit on his red auto 2gnt and he helped me figure out the belt reinstall. poor guy was running 18's all day long. I told him to take the air filter off his throttle body, and put a real intake on there emoji He really needs to get that kit painted he he. said he'd show up for a 2gnt meet next month

96rst, I got the belt on finally on sunday. you were right, it is pretty easy, and I didn't have to even get under the car for it. did those intergra guys help you out with the alternator install?

eclipse804...yeah me and ez had our belts come off just as ez^^^ posted, but i ended up leaving at 8:45pm, didnt want to leave but had to cuz i lost my p/s belt on the track..hehe yeah its probably still there.

ez..i had the turbo eclipse guys lend me their hydraulic jack, but it was too dark to get underneath the car to put the alt belt on...so i drove home, took my friend home, and ended up draining my whole battery. had to recharge it in the morning.

yeah i met the one dude with the kit on his red eclipse..i let him know about 2GNT. yeah i saw him running 18's too, but shit my runs sucked too so i can say shit. my highest mph was 88mph...what do you guyz think this is good for, considering i get good times on the others.
