1st Annual Mitsubishi Shootout
WHERE: Raceway Park, Englishtown N.J.
WHEN: Saturday June 14th
Gates open around 8:30am Racing from 9am-3pm.
ADMISSION: $25 for racers $10-15 for spectators and crew
All vehicles must pass Raceway Park tech inspection and all drivers need a helmet. Saturday programs require mufflers for all vehicles!
CLASSES Trophies will be awarded in each class thanks to Raceway Park AWD heads up 8-car fields with two qualifying sessions – 10am and 11:30am. You must register during tech to compete in these classes.
FWD heads up
Bracket 1: 13.49 elapsed time and faster Time trials all day until first round of eliminations at 1:30pm.
Bracket 2: 13.50 elapsed time and slower
A time only lane will also available. This is the place for grudge matches.
Back-halved, tube frame, or RWD vehicles can run exhibition along with
4G63-powered, non-Mitsubishi cars.
Raceway Park has generously allowed us sole use of the track for this event in anticipation of greater participation with each subsequent year. (Typically, the track has over 300 vehicles in attendance on Saturdays). Raceway Park and Turbotrix Racing are committed to growing this event every year. Please try to attend and show your support. It will benefit all of us in the long run.
