I have a '95 Eclipse GS with 140,000 miles. My car has been just shutting off while driving for the last 2 years or so. It use to start right back up but just the other day it shut-off in my drive way and would not start up. I took it to the dealer several times but they could not find anything wrong (no fault codes). After reading several post with similiar problems I replaced the fuel filter & Fuel Pump relay first, then still only turning the engine; no start. The fuel pump would turn on; no power getting to pump still. Next I just changed the Fuel pump, still nothing. Then I change the ASD relay and it starts but after running fine for a few hours it shuts off. After being stranded for about 20 minutes it starts on the first try. The dealer won't even look at it anymore because of the high mileage(B.S.). The only thing left is the Power Control Module-$700. I couldn't find any obvious loose wiring. Does that sound like the culprit or will I be wasting more money.Damn Dodge parts, I hope Mitsubishi stops building cars with they're CRAP, Jap cars Need Jap engines and parts.

I just dropped mine off at a transmission shop today, mine did that last week, I changed, plugs, wires, coil, starter, and new Optima battery (blue top)...turns out I may have just burned up my clutch to the point it cracked, or cracked my flywheel or pressure plate...and clutch problems???
