March 28, 2009 - TRAINING DAY - http://carzero.freeservers.com/ a 5 hour Monte Carlo style navigational Road Rally designed to introduce first time participants to the sport.
Entry fee is $40 for all classes. FREE to any car with a first time participant. This will be the only long ITN 2009 rally that is FREE to first time entrants, and it will include a FREE navigators school.
Start/School in north San Diego County. Exact location TBA soon.
If you think you would be interested in Driving -or- Navigating in my car please let me know. I strongly encourage everyone who is even remotely interested in rally to get involved in this event. You can enter any street driven car, zero prep necessary.

sweet! i might enter with one my buddies lol. I hope the local rental agency has some infinity g series. How does the rally work? is it 5 hours of straight driving? How many miles is it?

sorry for the double post but im typing this on my mobile (200 letter max) but is the start time staggered? Would there be any diry roads, jumps or anything of that sort?

Thanks for the link Dawg. Rallying has sure changed since I last did it 32 years ago. Very interesting observing speed limits and all. We used to do these mostly in the deserts for balls out best time. Still might try this out if I can get my son to commit and do the class.
