all of you from the midwest .... what strips do you guys go to on a regular basis.... anything close to eastern Iowa.... I would like to go to one and meet some of you fools someday who live close..... Or set up a "meet" at a central track..... like Cordova, Ill.... or Earlville, Ia..... just a thought.....

I'm from WI. People around here go to Great Lakes Dragway. I've never taken my car to the track, so I don't know how good it is. I have heard some people complain about it. I have hear that Byron in IL is supposed to be good.

yeah Ive heard that too... never been there... well Ive never raced my car... my dads drag raced for about as long as I can remember... so Ive been to Cordova,Ill...Morrocco,In...Eddyville,Ia..Cedar Falls,Ia...Earlvile,Ia... plus I went to the NHRA event at Rt 66 last Sept...... that was sweet... I just dont want to go to a track and do some runs with nothin but Detroit muscle wondering what the hell Im doin at there track.....

The only one I know of is Route 66 Dragway it's in Joliet, IL But they only do test and tune on thursdaynight if I remember right.

www.irponline.com Indianapolis website. Aug 16th-18th they are having import drags. Every Tuesday nite it's $10.00 to race in Street dreams. They also host the High School drag championships.
