#6214, "Tried my hands at a bone stock auto, lol."

Our local dragday, my first run with the NA, I blew up the tranny (using 26's can do that to our tranny's). So we talked my buddy's girlfriend into letting me run her bone stock (except for CAI) auto (I had just done a rebuild on the engine).

Lol, those things are tough to run. Got her down to a 17.7 (first run was a 18.3, lol). MAN these are dogs bone stock, lol. Did get the launch down, though. Could not preload. Just did not have the power to pick it back up after release. Had to do a dump and run. Dumped at (as in put it in drive) right around 3500-3700 but actually did a bit of a slip launch, in that, I popped her into drive but did not go full throttle right off the bat. Sat on the partial throttle of 3500-3700 until she started to move and then put her to the floor. Then I did my taxes and made a few phone calls until I got to the end of the track with a massive 77mph trap. Best launch 2.60.

Boy these bone stock auto's are tough, lol.

Sooo will you be adding this to your list of times in your signature? =P. My fiance is driving a n/t n/a with only a SRI on it (even worse its a gs) I find it amazingly slow, but at the same time, at least she is happy its faster than her old car (grand am gt). When we get the house money back we are doing her exhaust and when I upgrade my tb and IM I'll give her my old ones, but at the end of the day i don't see it helping to much.
