I went to the track tonight and i was kinda disappointed. And it was 70 -80 degrees all day too. I wanted to run this time with my 18's on with subs in the back and spare tire. Then next week run without all of it and with the stock 14 inchers to see how much of a difference it would make. Can anyone speculate how much it would make a difference here was my best out of 12 RUNS!! It wasnt busy tonight thankful for me. ANd it was my first time there too hehe. .153 r/t 2.676 60 ft 7.681 330 ft et @ 594 11.031 1/8 et 11.771 1/8th mph 60.73
My first time there was that good? Im a/t too. Only performance mods are final drive, apexi n1 catback, and aem cold air intake. I was kinda disappointed but should i be tell me what u guys think lol. I beat a civic!!! thats all that counts =) Then got whored by a civic h/b too haha but it had a jgb integra gsr engine swap in it =)

11.7 is kinda slow...but granted your auto and have a TON of extra weight...so i'm sure you could improve greatly by taking out all the extra junk in the trunk...as food for thought tho--last time i ran, i spun all theough 1st and deep into 2nd and ran an 11.4.....

yea, last time i ran n/a i ran an 18 second 1/4. i had a lot of the weight you did as well, 75lbs of stereo in the back, full tank of gas, spare tire, and some junk piled in the back seat and 17" rims.
i dont remember my 1/8th times, but our mods are similar. i didnt have the final drive at that time, so im presuming that would help out.
our a/t's are slow, but throw some boost on it and its great lol! then once it blows up do an a/t to manual swap hehe.
let me know how your other runs go, as i would like to see how that reduction and tire size changes your times.

hey man, no sweat... you'll just have to keep practicing. Oh, and do your best to make your car as LIGHT as possible... My Base Model talon only weighed 2650 lbs. (without me in it) but that's with no spare, jack, or hatch cover, and I had manual windows and door locks and 14's on.

Yah ill keep u guys posted on the difference. Next wednesday im goin to put the 14's on, take subs out, spare, jack, and backseat ill see how much of a difference it makes. Im hoping to improve my 60 ft alot and break maybe 11.3-11.4 lol if possible =) even tho its still sad i was hoping for high 10's lol but i guess that wont happen without some more work?

I'm finally gonna go to the track again with the many weeks i waited im excited to find out the difference cause i can already feel the power difference. But yet its so ugly =( lol. Well im goin back Wednesday. Hoping to improve that 11.7 to low 11's if possible but i think i can ? +) gl TO ME! lol =)

Finally got to run. Every damn wednesday its been raining so i went on Friday .. today. I had 14's on stereo out and thats it. Had spare tire in and a few other things that had some weight to them. Got my time down a bit but still not too impressed. Here is my slip compared to the other. With 18's stereo etc etc. R/t .153 60ft 2.676 330 ft 7.681 et @ 594 ft 11.031 1/8th et 11.771 1/8th mph 60.73
Without 18's and stereo r/t .286 60 ft 2.749 330ft 7.583 et @594 ft 10.831 1/8th et 11.570 1/8th mph 60.89
My 60 ft was higher with the 14's i guess they dont have much tread or i dunno. I shoulda lowered the pressure a bit i had 32 psi in them. But i managed to get a better time... i dunno still not too good i wanted 11.3-11.4 =(
