well when i just had exhaust on my car i raced a friends 2001 triton v8 truck. he got me on the start but i soon passed him like he wasnt even moving. hes a truck, with big tires, who cares if hes bored over. if anything with all that heavy stuff that might set him back to stock power. it will take him a while to get those tires moving. as long as you get a good launch with minimal wheel spin you should hand him his ass no problem.

you'll probably beat him, that'd be my guess

But, don't underestimate those trucks! Some are very fast, eventhe heavy ones. You should see some of the turbo diesels showing up at the drag strip, some of those guys (they have HUGE turbos on them, and are tons of boost and other mods) are running 13s and I think even 12s! :o

My friend drove my Eclipse, and me and a buddy drove our full size F-150's ('91 and '98) and we both smoked his ass. My friend knows how to drive too, he's got a Mustang that's running high 12's with just a few bolt-ons.
