I know this is a stupid question but before I bought a muffler first gear would shift between 40-45. But now first shifts out at 40 on the dot. Is this because of some lost low-end due to the muffler or is there something wrong with my car. I am guessing its the low-end loss, but not sure.

What mph does your gears shift at and with what mods

maybe youa ren't flooring it all the way. I used to think I topped out 100 back when I 1st got it. I had the seat back too far and couldn't mash the gas 100% to the floor. DOH!. I am pretty sure I hit 45 at the end of 1st.

I do have 18" wheels on the car so maybe that is why it shifts out at a lower mph. Now I feel stupid, I didn't even think of that.
