For any Autocrossers out there... I have a 1999 RS, wanting to compete in H-Stock Ladies in our local SCCA series. (just completed my three races as novice) But, I can't get a straight answer regarding stock wheel options. RS's came with 14x6 wheels. Some of the local racers believe I can use the wheels from the GS, which were 16x6. Then, someone mentioned a 10th Anniversary Edition GS, that came with OZ F1 16x7 wheels. Others suggested using current RS wheels, which are 15x6. Personally, I'd prefer to run 215's, and therefore would LOVE the option of a 7-inch track width, but can't get a for-sure answer.
Anyone know for certain what the stock track-width limitation is?

Hey, if you have the 14" 5 spoke enkeis that came stock(which you just said you did), they are only 5.5" wide. The wheels from any other eclipse will fit. If you are considering getting new wheels so you can use a wider tire, you should consider Rota. Here is a place that sells them- http://www.revolutionsmotorsports.com/ A 215 width tire is about as wide as i would probably like to go on a 7" wide wheel. Justin
