Considering the GST weighs almost the same as the RS and it will probably have about 20HP more, I would have to say the GST. It would still be a good race, but I just think the RS would be lacking at the top of 3rd gear and beyond.

It would be a very close race. I'd wager that the driver would be the determining factor, as the cars would probably be so close that there would be little overall difference between the two. The RS would have a weight advantage, actually. Not much, but it might be enough to even thigs out. I know, a different opinion from Sam, but that's what 2nd opinions are for

I raced a 97 GSX with bolt ons/ stock turbo and me at 5psi during break in. I had two people in my car and he had one, but my sister is pretty light at only 110. I ended up pulling about a car on him from 60-120. A GS-T would be marginally quicker due to less drag. I would say it would be about even.
...both drivers being equal and the stage 1 makes more power, has shorter gears and weighs less. It would be no contest if the drivers are equal. Not to mention they come with those weightless 14" stock.
