Never been to a specific 1/8th mile track, but my best 1/8th mile time is 10.038@69.82MPH. That was on my 15.625@88.53MPH pass. I think I've seen someone post a 9.9x 1/8th mile, but can't remember who it was.

This was the first and second times that I had went to the track with this car. The forst time I ran the car on the 18's and 215/40's the vest time that I got was 10.99 in the 1/8th with very minimal tire spin. The second time I went I ran it on the stock 14's and I ran a 10.80 with lots of tire spin. I think the next step would be ti find some 14's that I won't spin so much..

This isn't my time but a friend of mine went to the track last night. He drives a 98 prelude just an exhaust and CAI, and he has a slapstick AT. He said he did 7.94@68MPH...i asked for his slip, he said he will show me, i thought that was good considering it was his first run.

Agreed.....7.9 1/8th mile is a mid 12 second 1/4 mile time. The MPH should have been more like 80MPH. Someone was yankin your short and curlies.

Yup he is bull shitting you. In my 90 turbo eclipse the best I have run in the 1/8 so far is 9.3 at 79.98 MPH. He didn't run a 7 sec with only 60 mph. As for my 9.3 pass that was at only 13 psi of boost, major wheel spin, and clutch started to slip. Tried to make a run at 18 psi but it ended up being almost a 20 sec run, ahhaha, the clutch slipped like crazy.

Clutch is on the way as with some better tires. When I remove the tranny I am going to weld the spider gear. Right now I am workin on all the intercooler pipes. All those pipes on the 1gen eclipse are so restrictive and have so many unneeded kinks. Making every pipe bigger and elminating any kinks that I can, makin all pipes straight as possible. Then after I get that shit done I can make a run at 18 psi, that should put me in the low 8 maybe even high 7's.
