#9729, "Interesting Keyless Entry.. Help Please?"

At work the other day I was talking to my boss about his 96' Corvette. He was commenting my alarm and how he thought it was cool that I had remote start. And we got on the conversation about alarms and stuff and he said his remote was broken. I looked at the remote and noticed that there was 2 buttons, one for the hatch and one for the door lock. Just to lock not to open. So I said how do you unlock. He said.. Here take the remote walk to the car and the car will unlock.. When you walk away from it with the remote the car will lock. I thought that was cool as hell. So my question is, do we have a module like that or is there away to create something like that. And what if you hooked a door popper up to it? Is that possible, so that when it unlocks it also pops your door for you too? I know that would be an awesome module for my friend since he has lambo doors and was thinking about shaving his handles

go to DEIs website, i belive they have something like this. actually, i think most alarm companies have this feature in thier top-of-the-line alarms. its simply a transponder in the remote that emmits a frequency which unlocks the door when in range.

as for the door poppers...of course its possible!! and easy too! you would just need to wire a relay so that when the door locks are triggered the poppers are activated.

:shhh: i do cocaine :/shhh:

Step 1: Put down everything in your hands.
Step 2: Grab a lucky strike, Smoke it.
Step 3: Walk to the fridge, double fist some keystone ice, sit down in the shade, drink one beer, finish cigarette, drink other beer, roll a joint, smoke it, walk back to your problem, and in about 5 minutes the solution will come to you.

Yea but where can I get someting like this? I want to buy a module like this and hook a door popper up to it possibly. If I can find this and figure out how to do it, it would be awesome. Not only that it would be really beneficial to my friend who his car fully kitted with lambo doors. It be hot shit if he could walk up to it the car unlocks, triggers an actuator and the door pushes out and up. Fully automated!!
