Where is the tach wire for a 98 eclipse gs. I am looking at all the wiring diagrams and they keep telling me a different color.
Most say that it's white at the PCM. But I want to make sure.

Thanks

on a 96 it is white and on the bottom connector for the computer.
to check to see if this is the case on your car, hook up a volt meter to the white wire, start your car and rev it up- if the voltages change with your revs its the tach wire.

hope this helps
Kareem
