anyone had experience with this module? i'm lookng for an add-on pager module. i'm gonna be getting an apartment so i'm not gonna be in hearing distance of my car alarm. i don't want to swap for an alarm with a built in pager. i currently have viper 800esp and it's got a crap load of feature that you won't find on any pager alarm system.

i'm very happy with all the DEI stuff i've use so i'll probably be going with this one but i was wondering if anyone had any experience with other add-on pager modules. the dei 795w retails for $100ish i think.

that thing is junk... atleast the one i had was. I have the 800esp also and love it, but when i had the pager hook up to it it would go off for absolutly no reason. I had the ppl who installed it look at it and they could never figure it out. They even installed another brand new one and it did the same thing. Maybe youll have better luck than i did, but im gonna sell my 800 and get an Autopage 2 way alarm.

that's weird.. maybe they messed up the install? diagnosing stuff like that is a major PITA. no one would ever be able to work on my car b/c all the schematics for the stuff i've added on is in my head. lol

if it was paging you without the alarm being set off i would think one've the sensor lead were miswired or something. so it never worked right?
