here is the story, i bought an i pod, got the car charger, ip bus converter for my pioneer head unit (converts input to RCA), and a y split that connects my i pod. I used just regular houser RCA cables to go from the ipod to the cd player. Is this okay?
ALso, how do i use the cd changer function on my head unit. I have a pioneer 6500 head unit. And i tried every single frickin button...

The stereo has to be off. then press and hold F or function for the programming menus to come on.
There you can pick between setting time, inputs, etc. Go to Aux inputs. Pick Aux, on (or rca in some units). Turn Cd changer off (unless you have one and the Cd-RB20).
Im guessing you are using the CD-rb10?
