I have illumination going to my reverse glow gauges, so somehow i am losing power!

did you try the turn knob for the dash illumination? try turning it all the way up and see if you get any lighting, maybe you accidentally hit it and it turned the lights down.

yeah, i def. checked that knob. Its weird how i get power to the lights, my reverse glows and tail lights. I checked all fuses in the engine bay. I still cant figure it out. I dont NEED them, but it would be nicer to be bale to see my needles and where my heating controls are pointed.

I have reverse glow gauges and and aftermarker HVAC control. So it is not a necessity.

Any other ideas??

Um that doesnt make much sense, lol. Did you check all the fuses in the driver side kick panel as well ???? Try those I guess and see what you can find out. Also, maybe when you put in your reverse indiglo gauges, when you tapped into the green/white lighting wire, did you accidentally cut the wire in half or something? Just an idea that comes to mind. Try looking at the wire where you tapped it and try the driver side kick panel fuse box.

no everything was working fine until i put in my new dash, the indiglos worked, the needles worked. Checked every single fucking fuse in the entire car. I have all things plugged in to my belief.

My key ring around the ignition lights up, my dome lights work, my foot lights work, just my needles, HVAC controls, and cig lighter ring are not lighting up. It is really pissing me off!

My rear deforster lights up, my hazard control works, my cig lighter works but the light ring does not work

Yo dude i have the solution for ya, this happened to me before.

You need to take off the bottom parts of your dash to get to the back of the dimmer knob (aka rheostat), im bettin it has blown/gone bad. There you will see 3 wires running into the switch: 1 green, and 2 black. Cut the two black ground wires running to it, and then connect the wires to each other, you can leave the green power wire connectedto the rheostat, it wont hurt anything. The lights should work then, but you will not be able to dim them, they will stay bright. This happened to me and everythings back on and working perfectly for me. It is a simple and quick fix, if you can strip wires and twist them together. PM me if you need more advice.

woo hoo, while looking for the wires i couldnt find them. Then i found an blank plug just floating around close by, just so happens to plug right in. Did this all wihtout removing a single panel, besides the mirror, fog light bezel/trim area and a flashlight.

HELL YEAH, thanks alot.
