I'm looking into a 6.5 component set for my doors- any preferences? i dont want to pay more than like $200. Any brands to stay away from would be helpful too...!

i'm not sure if you can get boston rally for that price, but those i've liked. I also liked a set of mtx i heard (not sure what series) and i actually like some of the pioneer (i think they were premier).
It's really a matter of taste though, not everyone is going to like the same thing you do, so listen around, and see if you can demo with some of your own cd's.

I tell you what, I have the Canton 5 1/4" seperates in custom kickpanels. It is the best sounding mids and highs I have ever owned. If you can spend the extra cash, I recommend doing it.
