#863, "remote power adapter"

so i went to the shop today and bought sum dynomat for my loud ass fuel pump, and i was askin the guy about the remote power adapter..

how much should this cost?? i could probably install it, but let me know how much yall would pay to have sumone else hook it up.

Or you can get what is called a 'remote power adapter' at a Directed Electronics dealer(any viper, python, sidewinder, hornet alarm dealer can get it for you). This little thing hooks up to a speaker wire and is really a low voltage relay. When you turn on the radio, the relay sees the audio signal voltage and turns on the realy to supply 12 volts to your amp. Check that out, it might help.

YO vegas, i wrote that to you in your post not long ago about the power adapter. As for the price, i'm not too sure, but it shouldn't be any more than 15-20 bucks. If you can hook up your own stereo stuff, then you should be able to do it your self. If at all in doubt, have the shop do it for you, shouldn't be that much...
