i just bought 100sq ft of fat mat. i know thats probably more than enough to do my whole car since the trunk is already done in dynamat extreme. what are some main spots that i should hit to kill road noise and rattles? thanks.

Two layers!!! I did two layers, put some behind the panels in the rear seats, the trunk panel walls, on the fuel tank (under the rear seat), and over the stick area (area between the front seats).

Take out your headliner (if you don't have a sunroof) and do 2 layers on the roof, cuts down on windnoise a lot.


You're gonna burn through that 100 square feet in 2.9 minutes then be pissed cuz you didn't buy more

heres what i was thinkin...2 layers on the doors and that area next to the back seat.then one layer on the floor, maybe two depending on how much i have left. i may also try doing the headliner thing. how the hell do i get that out? just pull? im guessing its on clips like everything else? thanks for the info.
