#7793, "got my mercury switches, ready to install?"
i just recieved my mercury switches for my rem start on my 5spd talon, i plan on hooking it up to my shifter as a saftey. it will run off of the starter wire. is the starter wire the best wire to use and do i need to add relays so the switches dont over load?

I suppose you could do it that way, but your Remote Starter should have a few wires for it that are safety shut down wires. They are usually wires that need a ground signal. Easiest thing to do, is to take one wire of the merc switch, ground it to the car, and run the other switch wire to the remote start safety wire. When the bubble in the merc switch is in contact, then that sends the ground signal to the RS, and it wont start. What brand RS do you have?
