How can I run speaker wires from the door to the car to get them to the amp. I want to do this install as clean as possible. How can I get into the wiring harness, or what other alternatives do I have? thanks, Luke

you can just hook the wires from the speakers up to the regular wires that were there for the stock ones and then instead of hooking up the speaker wire into the back of the deck, just run wire from the amp to the wire behind the headunit. thats what i did so i didn't have to worry about trying to get wire from the door into the cabin. hope this helps.

I ran new wires for my component speakers. I had tweeters so I needed to run 2 wires into the door. I just used a coat hanger and pulled the wires up through a hole behind the kick panel up to where the gromet is connected to the body of the car. There was a piece of metallic type tape covering the hole. I then popped the grommet off on the car side and pulled both wires up. Then I fed the coat hanger from inside the door up through the grommet and pulled each wire through the grommet and into the door. I feel that I can get better quality sound through these wires than through the stock wires especially since I went the component route. It takes some time, but IMO it was worth it.

Yeah, when I ran wires through my door I used a 14AWG solid conduit wire that you can get cut at home depot (they have bright colored wire so you can see it in the dark spots). It's my wire snake.
