#7529, "Mounting PS2...locations?"

I need a spot to mount my PS2....nothing custom or flashy, I just need a nice spot where it won't skip or whatnot and is hidden somewhat.

Under the passenger seat? But how do I prevent it from ksipping or sliding around....or anyother ideas...lemme know

you should mount in underneath the passenger side, just find some brackets or something to hold it to one spot, face the dvd opening towards the front so that it makes it easy to change games and easy on the cables of the controllers to play.

mine is sitting under the passenger seat. didnt mount it cause i wanted to take it out easily if i leave my car somewhere. no skips, not bothered by the passenger. I've seen it in the dash or my friends eclipse. you're better off keeping it under the seat.

Did you strap it down in any way, or put anything under it?

I was thinking of just setting it under the passenger seat too, maybe on some egg crate soft bed stuff....heh --How exactly is yours?Any pics?

Put some of the hook side of velcro on the bottom of the ps2. It let it grap onto the carpet and keep it from sliding into the footwell when you stop short.

a friend of mine had his in his prelude in the trunk. what the previous owner (who installed it) did, was he cut open the ps2 extension cords , and got each individual wire and spliced it to a long one and then shrink wrapped it so it's exactly like the normal wire, and then respliced the connecting end up in the dash, so the connectors for the control are molded into the dash. it was reportedly a huge pain in the ass (like splicing in a few wiring harnesses after theyve been cut out, but not as easy) but the cool factor and the aesthetic factor were high.
