#7496, "Preparing for alarm install....anything I can do beforehand to make it easier?"
Alright, I got my Viper 791XV today, and my friend who is a wiz with such things is gonna help me install sometime this next week or so. My question is, is there anything I can do now to make the install easier when we go to do it (aside from reading the manual, obviously)?

Here is the wiring codes for our cars. Hopefully you can see this link. I'm a DEI installer, so if you have any questions, just let me know. Have at least a 12volt test light handy, electrical tape, solder, ect..HIDE the brain and wiring as good as you can. Thats what truely makes a good security system.

from a physical standpoint, remove the panel under the steering wheel and the drivers seat. TRUST me, you will be cut, bruised, and aching if you dont do that, lol.
i also used one of those "miners" flashlights that goes on your head.
aside form that, just make sure you keep track of the wiring. you mihgt want to have some extra wire and butt connectors on hand if you find that one wire is too short to reach the desired brain location.
