that's a very subjective question.

you want loud, buy 1 15, and make the biggest ported box you can fit. you'll stay under 200...

Yeah sound quality is somewhat important but I just need some loud bass because my exhaust gets annoying driving over 3500 miles a month.

i love my one fifteen, loud ass hell. but the only problem is, for my 15 (not sure about others), it has a huge amount of air space recommended and our trunks were too small. i made a custom box that was basically filled my whole trunk, and it was still way under the recommended size. but it still is loud as hell, and is still clear. it just cannot reach its max capabilities in this box and my car. if you want deeper bass, b/c of the magnet sizes of the 15s, i dont think the 12s can match. the bigger the magnet, the more it can handle (i think). but i have heard 2 12s in our car that is loud as hell too!

^^what once was^^

^^what is now.. and permanently^^

Audiomobile EVO-12 http://www.audiomobileinc.com I have yet to see one comparison test where audiomobile subs didn't win for SPL,excusion (X-max) and sound quality. They are only available through the website though. Check the site out for reviews ect.

I'd recommend an audiobahn 12, there not too expensive, look good, sound good, and you can call audiobahn and talk to sean (there tech) and he'll design you a box for whatever you want (sq. or spl), he'll give you volume port sixe length ect. and all you got to do is build it or have someone else build it to those spec's. That was you know you got the best box for your speaker

lol I guess I am audio impaired. I have a single 12" box that I got from Best Buy a while back for $10 because some carpet was torn or unglued or some shit. Does the box make that big of a difference? I had a 12" pioneer in there with a punch amp like 200 watts or so. I was thinking audiobahn actually.

i've heard audiobahn aw1200 get real loud and they're in the price range. The alum are nice but more for sq so don't get those. But buy something close to the power rating on your amp or you ain't gonna be happy. And get a ported box like Koolade said

JLs is supposed to be the biggest bang for thebuck.. but i like memphis.. you dont need alot of air space at all.. my boys exten cab s10 has 4 of them in it. and it pumpss... he has sound quality ones but bumps with them... as long as u give ur subs enough power they should bump.. audiobanh needs lots of airspace though..

check out www.ubid.com just watch out for reserve prices.

I love dino and 2gnt. ####ers (my word) bliz stole it but i let him borrow it
