wassup! anyways. you have talked me into putting that audiobahn in my eclipse. here is what i have so far. 2 RF 1.0 farad caps, and the sub....sad i know. anyways. i would like a custom enclosure. i want the flame part of the basket to show but i also want the top to show. dont know how that will work. i want the caps hidden because they wont match but i dont want to exclude them or buy new ones. i will also want the enclosure to be removable for track stuff. i am putting hahn stage 3 or more on my car. gotta take it to the track sometimes. btw, the audiobahn is a 1508 so it needs a lot of room to breathe....any ideas anyone? oh yea, as always, trying not to spend a crapload of money. wont happen right away either. rms on that 1508 is 2000 watts so i will need a monster amp. what info you guys got?

MMATS makes a 1400 watt amp. It comes in a couple different models, depending on your speakers. It is kinda pricey ($579) but it is the best of the best for the price right now. It's pretty hard finding 1400 watts that are this good, for the price. About the enclosure, someone posted a while back that they would send out plans for the false floor, so you could probably search for that. Seeing the flame on the basket, and the top of the sub is gonna be difficult, I can only think of 1 way to do it, and that would be to put a piece of MDF (?) right behind the back seat, and mount the sub in it with a 15" hole. I don't know if AudioBahns are free-air, but you would still have to lay your back seat down to see the front of the sub. Sounds like you have a kickin system going, good luck on it.

P.S. - The new Rockford Fosgate HX2's, and that MMAT's 1400 watt amp kicks. It was setup in an S-10, and it helped finish cracking my windshield while he was next to me. (Added 8 inches to it)

*EDIT* You could remove your floor (cheesy cardboard/fiberboard) in the hatch, build a new one out of MDF (?), and just build a box for the sub, without a bottom to it, and use the floor for the bottom. Just an idea, would be kinda hard to remove for the track. Any help refining it would be appreciated, this is the setup I'm going to use.

You have no need for two 1 farad caps! Way over kill for just one 15" sub! Get rid of one of them emoji The only way that you are going to see the front and rear of the sub is with some plexi and mirrors. If you do like ^^^ said and put it right behind the seat then you are going to have to make the back of the sub box out of plexi. The problem is, with a 15" sub you are going to have to use 1" plexi at the least. For the set-up you are thinking of, you are talking about alot of time and $$$$. Plus for that much power, you better be running 1/0 gauge wire and you will definitely need to upgrade your alt emoji Oh and don't forget sound dampening your whole car. But nothing is impossible! Good luck emoji
