.... Yeasterday I was up till 1:30am (guess that'll be today) building my sub enclosure..(glass) in a false floor type set up(pics comming soon) I dropped in 3 12"subs that required 1.25 cft of air space.. looks geat.....sounds great!!!(popped my fuckin sun roof out)so now im just looking for amp rack ideas.... see ive got 2... and both of them are too damn big to put on the back of the seats... and i dont have enough room to flush em in to the floor.... i do however have to keep my back seat as well (kids) so any ideas would be helpful..

thanx

i think it would look really cool to suspend a "bridge" over the subs that holds the amps, but im assumming you probably dont have that much room between the hatch and the top of the sub box. still, that would be awesome... you could make the center section out of plexi to give a "floating" effect, and put some neon underneath to light up the subs. ahh!!! i have the craving to install somthing!!!! LOL

if you still have some space to the left and right of the subs, you mihgt be able to mount the amps vertically and parralel to the length of the car.

i always thought it would be cool to flush mount a pair of amps in the floor wells of the back seats. you would only need to take up about 4" of hieght on the floor, and you could fabricate a cover to put on when there are people riding in the backseat.

another idea: maybe you could mold the amps into the left and right panels in the backseat (and relocate the rear speakers if you have any).

BTW, i just started my install on the neon today, ive got some insane things im going to do, thats why im in such a creative mood, lol.

:shhh: i do cocaine :/shhh:

I don't know what you will be doin this for, but it would be cool if you could get them on a piece that would flip up from underneath. I'll try to explain it better...

have your amp upside down not visible. When you push a button it flips out and you can see it. Ya get it? I'm havin a tough time explaining it cause its all in my head, ya know?

Another idea would be if you could do the same thing except have it pop out from the side. Like a airplane opens its under doors. They slide away and the amp comes out. I dunno. Just slap me...
