looks pretty good for the price, ive always had good luck w/ pioneer equipment. seems as if they are trying to fool you w/ the "max power" statement, but 50x2 isnt too bad.

the only thing i DONT like is that the main 12v+ and 12v- connections are side-by-side. make sure you disconnect the - battery terminal before you start the install, and watch out so that those two dont short.

no, the 7 series amps are prone to fail, go for an older one.

240 watts is nothing, get an 800 w amp. i dont care if your just powering the stocl speakers 240 is just too small

didnt get it. what i had planned was using 2 of those. one for the front and one for the back speakers. but i went against that and bought a 4 channel amp

I would watch these amps as they were recalled. It had something to do with them possibly catching fire if the impedence was to low for it to handle. I'm a Pioneer dealer and had to send a few back.
