I have .8" titanium MB Quart tweeters up on my dash. My car never came with the dash speakers so i just put them up where the car would have had em (only they are smaller lol).

you will definatly need some sort of high pass crossover to keep the tweets form sounding like crap. also, when you run speakers in series (or parallel), you change the characteristics of the crossover. in other words, you cant just "add on" a pair of tweets to an already existing crossover set.

i would suggest looking over this site a bit:

http://www.eatel.net/~amptech/elecdisc/caraudio.htm

check out the "passive crossover" section, among others...its a great site.

may i ask why you feel the need to ad another set of tweets? are the present ones not cutting it? or do you just like a tone of top-end?

:shhh: i do cocaine :/shhh:

hope this helps. they just need to be angled a little more to the seats as you can tell by the pass side ones. but i thought it was the best place for them
driver side...

pass. side...

hope this helps you out a little bit...later

LOL..i totlaly forgot to answer the real question in my last post...

a simple wya to help you decide might be to put some double-sided tap on the back of the tweets. hook them up with some really long speaker wire and try experimenting w/ different mounting locations. dont forget to try the kickpanels, i had good luck w/ door mounted mids and kick-panel mounted tweets in my exs old escort.

:shhh: i do cocaine :/shhh:

The ones I have look like they would fit perfectly where the handle to roll up/down my window is. If you take off that handle and mount them there i thought that would be cool. but then i would have to get power windows and there is enough shit on my car to go wrong as it is..

Well, if you just want to hear the constant TSSSS TSSSS TSSSS of your tweeters that's an awesome place. But, no offense, if you want your system to sound decent you have to place them in front of you and at relatively equadistant locations so that you create a stereo image. This is what will make your system sound good.

Mine aren't in the best location. But here's a pic. Look right next to the door handle and AC vent on the pas side door.
